William M. Pearson, Attorney and Shareholder

Bill is a shareholder with Foley & Foley, P.C.  A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, Bill is the past co-chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Alaska Bar Association and currently serving as an officer and director of the Anchorage Estate Planning Council.

A frequent presenter before the professional bar and various civic organizations, Bill was a featured presenter at the 2009 Alaska Bar Convention.  Previously, Bill served as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Anchorage Bar Association and Secretary of the Anchorage International Rotary Club.  Prior to joining Foley & Foley, Bill clerked for the Honorable Judge Michael Thompson in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Bill has a B.S. in finance from the University of Idaho and studied International Finance at the University of Southern Denmark.  

Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Bill is an outdoor enthusiast.  He is a three-time finisher of the White Mountain 100 ski race, a 100 mile ski race through interior Alaska, has been a five time team captain of the Klondike Road Relay running race from Skagway to Whitehorse and is a frequent participant in various ski marathons throughout the state of Alaska, including the Tour of Anchorage, Oosik Classic and Sonot Kkaazoot.  Bill has been a featured story teller at the local Arctic Entries story board, and can often be found in the Brooks Range during the fall enjoying his passion for dall sheep hunting.
